Berkeley 10k 2026

Come and join us for the 2025 Berkeley 10k! on Sunday 27th April. Event details Date and start time: Sunday 27th April 2025 / 10.45am Venue: SGS Berkeley Green UTC, GL13 9FB Surface: Road and footpaths Route: Out to Berkeley then two laps of town and return. All on quiet, flat country lanes Wheelchair accessible: The course and HQ are accessible for Wheelchairs racers. We offer prizes for the best wheelchair man / women. Other disabilities: We welcome other athletes with disabilities and will include them in the general classification as long as there is no significant benefit to be gained, this includes blind runners with guides. Water stations: Yes, at 1k, 5k and the finish. Please use the bins/drop areas given. Distance markers: Every 1k Traffic free: No, light traffic on lane so no headphones or other listening devices, except bone conducting devices not sitting in the ear may be used. Timing: The race result is determined on gun time but we also provide chip to chip time for records. Awards: Cash prizes for first three men and women, and age categories of U20 and masters rising in five-year intervals from m/f V35-9etc as far up as we have runners. Drinks prizes for lowest aggregate score of teams of four men and teams of three women also. As is traditional a bottled drink of beer, cider or soft drink (or a cup of tea) for all finishers. Changing: Not this year as we no longer have access to the buildings. Toilets: Yes, portaloos near the start. Bag storage: No Parking: Large car park courtesy of SGS. Online entry: Yes through Entry Central On-the-day entry: No Minimum age : 15 on day of race Entry cost : £17 affiliated, £19 unaffiliated Sorry, there are no medals, tee shirts or other mementos at this event. A sizeable proportion of the proceeds from this race, after expenses, go to our nominated club charities. Refunds: No refunds can be provided by the organisers for non-participation however changes can be made without charge via the organiser until entry closing day.
