Pinkathon 2024 Virtual and In-Person Challenge for Breast Cancer! 10 Mile (Virtual) (2024)
Please join us for the 2024 Pinkathon Challenge for Breast Cancer! Run/walk virtually anytime, or run/walk at the in-person event on Sat. October 19th in San Francisco! If you decide to run virtually, you can run, walk or cycle - any distance you want - anywhere you want - even if you're in another state, another country, or another planet! You may complete your distance any time and across as many days as you want, any time before October 31, 2024. Last year, we raised over $70,000 for our charity, BCRF! Let's do it again!
The 10th Annual Pinkathon SF In-Person Event will take place on Saturday, October 19, 2024, at the San Francisco Ferry Building by Gott's Roadside's outdoor patio and has capacity limits due to location constraints. The Virtual Pinkathon Challenges have no capacity limits.
The Pinkathon SF is a FREE "do-it-yourself" or "fat-ass" event, meaning that we have NO AID STATIONS and NO COURSE MARKINGS (except for the 5K & 10K turnarounds & Pink Ribbon Trail). You must bring/carry your own water and snacks. We have downloadable maps and turn-by-turn directions that you can find at https://pinkathon.org/pinkathon-maps
Although it's free to register for the Pinkathon, we expect EVERY participant to make a voluntary donation to our charity, the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF) to the best of their ability. Make your donation at https://pinkathon.com/donate You can also create your own individual or team/group fundraising page and raise donations from your family, friends and co-workers! Changes are possible by logging in to your runsignup account - you can switch events up to the day before the run as long as there is space on the bus you wish to transfer to.
Additional details can be found at www.rvrr.org/events/training-run
Groups of runners (called ‘trains’) will run (travel) at pre-determined paces to Grove # 3 in Johnson Park in New Brunswick (the destination station).
Starting in Trenton with small groups of runners who are challenging themselves to go the entire distance, the ‘trains’ will add additional runners (passengers) who join (board their ‘train’) at the speed they want to travel. By the end, one massive group of runners and walkers will be moving in a continual train along the Towpath. Trains will have an official pacer (conductor) to keep these trains on schedule. Trains stop at each ‘station’ along the way, and from Alexander Road to the end there is fuel (water and/or snacks) available. All trains are scheduled to reach the destination at 11 a.m. to rest, feast and celebrate a day of running camaraderie.
Join us for the best running day of your life!

Everybody Rides 2024 10 Mile Trail Ride (2024)
We Welcome all Types of Riders to Everybody Rides
We feature a 1.6 mile toddler route and 10 mile trail ride, great for the whole family or those new to cycling. Both rides will have a guided ride with a leader that leaves at 8:30 am. Please sign up for this!
In addition to the trail ride we have a 29, 46 and 62 mile road ride for the more experienced rider. The unique feature of Everybody Rides is our routes allow you to add on more miles if you would like while riding. All you have to do is do an extra "loop" or two depending on how many miles you would like to ride!
As a reminder for for those new here, Everybody Rides is a fundraiser for Project Mobility. Project Mobility is a local nonprofit that provides the freedom of mobility to children, adults and wounded soldiers with disabilities through adaptive cycling.
Riding a bike may sound like such a simple activity but to those with mobility challenges (along with the hefty price tag of an adaptive bike) it makes it nearly impossible for them to enjoy the freedom of mobility without our help. Adaptive bikes provide life changing mobility, strength, self-esteem and the ultimate freedom for children, adults and veterans with disabilities. Cycling restores the possibilities to those who are often told by society that their life is about limitations.
Join us on Sunday, June 9th to witness firsthand what we are all about at Project Mobility. Post ride we will have our Party in the Park with our Adaptive Bike Giveaway in addition to unlimited food, beer garden, live music, raffles and so much more!
