12-hour, 6-hour and 3-hour Endurance Races
Saturday, June 8, 2024
REGISTRATION – Online registration for the 12-hour, 6-hour and 3-hour events is now open through Thursday, June 6 at www.runsignup.com. Registration includes major support throughout the race, including a wide variety of food and drinks. All participants also receive a performance t-shirt, additional swag, available camping, professional timing, overall and age-group awards.
FOOD & SUPPORT – Your registration includes food throughout the day, including Honey Stinger products, sweet and salty snacks, fresh fruit, Coke, Ginger Ale, Mountain Dew, Gatorade, water, tea, coffee, hot chocolate, hot soup, noodles, quesadillas, pickles, sandwiches and more. You may have a drop bag at the checkpoint on each lap if you have food/drink items or gear/clothing that you want to access or exchange.
At the checkpoint, you will have access to medical support, live music, portable toilets, your drop bag and your vehicle. We will have massage available for runners in the latter part of the race day.
COURSE – The 2.2 mile loop route is predominantly singletrack route, with about ½-mile dirt road. The route is very challenging and scenic. Asaayi has the largest population of bears on the Navajo Nation, and runners should be aware of rattlesnakes, cougars and other potential wildlife on the remote sections of trail. Runners will log as many laps/miles as possible on the course during their 12, 6 or 3-hour time period.
CAMPING – Rustic camping is available at Camp Asaayi on Friday and Saturday night. There will be portajohns at the site. There is no power, running water, modern restrooms or wi-fi at the camp, and very limited phone reception.
PACKET PICK-UP – Packet pick-up and on-site registration will be available an hour before each race on race morning at the ramada The start/finish location for each lap and the aid station ramada are all located at the same location as packet pick-up.
AWARDS – There will be overall and age-group awards.

The 12 Hours of Asaayi and the Navajo Parks Race Series are co-sponsored by the nonprofit organization NavajoYES and the Navajo Parks & Recreation Dept., with major support from Navajo Rangers, Honey Stinger, Osprey and the Navajo Trails Task Force.
DIRECTONS – Camp Asaayi is located in Bowl Canyon Recreation Area in the Chuska Mountains. Access is easiest on the new paved road, just north of Navajo, New Mexico. A good graded dirt road on the north side of the lake, begins off NM Hwy 134 near Crystal, New Mexico. The start, finish, parking and camping are at Camp Asaayi, not Lake Asaayi (which is about ½ mile away). Camp Asaayi is just east of the Lake.
From east (if travelling from Shiprock, Newcomb, etc.) Travel over Narbona Pass from Sheep Springs, heading west. Travel ½ mile west of Crystal on NM Hwy 134. Turn left (south) at the large Bowl Canyon sign and travel south seven miles on the graded dirt road to Lake Asaayi and Camp Asaayi, which is located at the “Group Campgrounds” on the map below.
From south (Window Rock, Ganado, Gallup, etc.) Travel 20 miles north from WR to the newly paved road 8000, about three miles north of Navajo, New Mexico. Head east on route 8000 about eight miles up to road 311. Turn left (north) on 311 and travel three miles to Camp Asaayi, which

This year’s Asaayi Mountain Races will include four events:
- Asaayi Bike Race (Saturday, June 15 beginning at 8:30 a.m.)
- Asaayi Kids Bike Race (Saturday at 8:35 a.m.)
- 12 / 6 / 3 Hours of Asaayi (Saturday beginning at 7:00 a.m.)
- 10K Trail Race (Saturday, beginning at 5:00 p.m.)
REGISTRATION – Registration for the 10k includes professional timing, a performance t-shirt, light post-race food, finisher’s medals, course support and awards to top finishers. Race day registration will also take place an hour before the start of the race at Camp Asaayi
ROUTES – The 10K Trail Race will begin and end at Camp Asaayi. The course begins with a loop around the shoreline of Lake Asaayi and then begins a 500-foot ascent of the trail overlooking the camp. Once topping off on the ridge, runners begin their descent back to the camp. The terrain is challenging and the views are stellar. The late afternoon start at high elevation should make for a beautiful highcountry running experience.
WEATHER – Expect summer conditions. While the race is at 7500-8000 feet elevation, the temperatures are still likely to be in the 70’s and 80’s. Cloud cover, wind or precipitation (even monsoons, of course) are possible in late June. It is advisable to look ahead at the forecast a few days before the race, checking Window Rock, AZ.

33rd Annual Roll Stroll & Run 20 Mile Bike Ride (2024)
Indian Creek Foundation is kicking off our 33rd Annual Roll Stroll & Run and it will be bigger and better than ever! The event will be held on Saturday, June 15th, 2024. This charity ride/walk/race typically draws more than 300 participants and volunteers from all over the region. We will offer our 4 scenic and challenging cycling routes (10, 20, 40 or 62 miles), two walking courses (1K and 5K), and a timed 5K run.
We are also planning to host our post-race family carnival with even more excitement than ever before! We will have an all-you-care-to-eat lunch, a DJ, family entertainment, beer garden, and fun raffles and prizes!
The drive-through early check in will be held again on Thursday, June 13th, from 5:30pm-7pm at 420 Cowpath Road, Souderton, PA. Attendees can avoid Saturday's lines and pick up their collectible t-shirts, 5K run bibs, swag bags, and other event materials that evening. We will even have a prize for the first car to arrive!

Delta Health Foundation is excited to announce that our 13th Annual Pea Green Pedal and 5k Walk/Run will be held on Saturday, June 22 at the Pea Green Community Center, located at Hwy 348 and Banner Road, in Delta. We will offer a 20 and 40 mile road ride, in addition to the 12-mile Mountain Bike ride. And this year, we are bringing back a 5k+ Walk/Run - it's going to be an amazing day! Registration includes lunch, 2 libation drink tickets, and a Delta Health Foundation water bottle or neck gaiter, and a chance to win a new bike!

3rd Annual Swift Bear Trail Run 20 Mile Run (2024)
We are excited to announce the 3rd Annual Swift Bear Trail Run along with the new added event of 50K! It will be held Saturday, August 10, 2024 during Hays Powwow in the beautiful Mission Canyon. Along with the 50K, there will still be the 10 Mile and 20 Mile runs. So, come on out and get your run on!
The 20 Mile run is a loop in the mountains that consists of 2 track roads, gravel, and approximately 3 miles of pavement.
***IMPORTANT 20 MILE INFO - If you expect your overall completion time to be more than 6 hours, we ask you to move your start time to 5:30 am with the 50K runners.
***IMPORTANT 50K INFO - There will be a cutoff time for this race. If a runner has not made it to the last aid station (approximately 10 miles from finish line) by the 8.5 hour mark (1:30 PM) this will result in a disqualification.
Like last year, there will be prizes given to the top male and female finishers in both the 10 and 20 Mile runs. Prizes for the 50K are TBD at this time.
All runs start and end on the east end of the powwow grounds; look for the white canopy and check-in table. Runners will meet 30 minutes before start of each run at the starting line.

If you love cycling, running and walking for a cause, come on out to Townsend Park on September 15th to participate in one of PedALS multiple bike events which include a 100k Iron Horse road ride, 40-mile road ride, 20-mile road ride, 32-mile gravel ride,10-20-mile bike mountain ride, 5k or 1-mile walk. The walk/run/roll is a family fun event so bring all your family and friends! After the bike/run/walk/roll, we will celebrate the day with lunch, drinks, music, and lots of activities for the kids including balloon artists, face painting, yard games, and so much more!

10 & 20 Mile Training Run 20 Mile Training Run (2024)
TRAINING RUN
A Free 10 & 20 Mile Training Run, brought to you by the University of Michigan Health-West Grand Rapids Marathon and Team World Vision. No Shirts. No Money. No race packets. Just a supported training run on a Saturday morning. We'll use parts of the marathon course, and lots of Millennium Park.
SIGN UP SO WE KNOW WHO ALL ARE COMING!! It helps us plan for supplies for the day. We'll draw for some prizes from the registered runners.
We'll be using the Community Room, inside the YMCA, for post run nutrition and social time. We'll have a couple of our awesome sponsors on site, available to chat. This is where we will do the drawing for prizes, drawn from those who registered.
Pacers? Yes! Many of our pacers who will be pacing you on October 20th, will be on hand for this training run, with pace signs. This would be a great time to connect and do your training run with the pacer you may have on race day!

Join us in supporting the Breast Cancer Resource Center in Round Rock. Your help in 2024 will enable them to continue their deep commitment to individuals whose lives have been upended and forever changed by breast cancer in the Central Texas area. You can contribute directly through funds or volunteering.
