The 10th Annual Pinkathon SF In-Person Event will take place on Saturday, October 19, 2024, at the San Francisco Ferry Building by Gott's Roadside's outdoor patio and has capacity limits due to location constraints. The Virtual Pinkathon Challenges have no capacity limits.
The Pinkathon SF is a FREE "do-it-yourself" or "fat-ass" event, meaning that we have NO AID STATIONS and NO COURSE MARKINGS (except for the 5K & 10K turnarounds & Pink Ribbon Trail). The North Olympic Discovery Marathon, Marathon Walk, Marathon Relay and Half Marathon take place on a unique point to point course that incorporates the beautiful Olympic Discovery Trail with stunning views of the Olympic Mountains and a five mile finishing stretch along the shores of the Strait of Juan de Fuca. The 10K, 5K and Kids Marathon are an out-and-back along the shores of the Strait of Juan de Fuca.
Frequent sightings of seals, eagles, and an array of shore birds are common from the trail. Iconic trestle bridges provide beautiful back drops. Salmon can be seen spawning at the Morse Creek crossing in the fall. The North Olympic Discovery Marathon is truly one of the most beautiful marathon venues anywhere.
This rails to trails course is a wide, hard surface (99% paved) trail. The course is marked at every mile and water stations are located approximately every two miles. Cool June weather can be expected – average high is 65F, average low is 49F, average mean is 57F.
The race is organized by the Port Angeles Marathon Association – a group of accomplished amateur athletes.
The Marathon is a USATF certified course and a Boston Marathon qualifier.

Start and end your summer race season with half marathons in beautiful Helena, Montana. The Queen City Crown is a two-race series comprised of:

- Just for the Helena of It Half Marathon, Helena, MT - Oct. 20, 2024
Both races must be completed in the 2024 calendar year to be eligible for results and awards. Runners must register for and pay applicable entry fees for each of the individual races. It is free to sign up for the Queen City Crown.

Runners must register for the Queen City Crown prior to the Just for the Helena of It race on Oct. 20, 2024.
Prize money for top men and women finishers will be based on the fastest cumulative time of both races. Prize money is $100 for 1st place, $50 for 2nd place, and $50 for 3rd place.
Non-cash prizes will be awarded by random drawing of all Queen City Crown finishers. Drawing to be conducted following the 2024 Just for the Helena of It half marathon.

This is our 9th year and we continue to improve it a little more every year. The in person 5k and a 1 mile races will be timed and there are also virtual options ranging from the 5K distance up to the full marathon distance. With your 5k race registration and/or virtual registration, you will receive a finishers medal! We can not stop fighting for cures for cancer. As Danny Thomas said, "No kid should die in the dawn of life." No family should have to worry about bills or whether there is a cure or not for their child! All parents need to focus on is being there for their child as they fight for their lives! Let's help ease that burden by raising the money the doctors need to save the children!
Timberline Marathon and Half Marathon Marathon Saturday (2024)
Get ready for the most picturesque marathon and half marathon trail running course in the Pacific Northwest! The course completely circles shimmering Timothy Lake on single track trails that are absolutely a runner's dream. This gem is nestled at 3,227 feet in the high Cascades and the views of Mt. Hood across the lake are extraordinary.
Finisher medals and gender specific technical shirts are included with your registration.
The journey begins at the Clackamas Lake Historic Ranger Station and takes runners on a magical course that traverses three rustic bridges over sparkling tributaries that feed the deep blue waters of the lake. The ever changing scenery and terrain create an experience that is unparalleled. The Timberline Marathon and Half Marathon is a must for any runner's calendar!
The Jackson River Scenic Trail Marathon, Half Marathon, 10k, and 5k The Jackson River Scenic Trail Full Marathon (2024)
This fun event has something for everyone! The USATF certified course begins and ends at the Intervale Trail Head of The Jackson River Scenic Trail in Covington, Virginia. The trail follows an old railroad bed of the Chesapeake and Ohio Railway. The course has a smooth crushed gravel surface and is mostly flat with some light hills. The trail follows its namesake river, winding it's way through small communities, cultivated fields, and small patches of woodland. It isn't uncommon to see wildlife along the way.
WEATHER
This is a rain or shine event. In the case of severely inclement weather, announcements regarding the race status will be made on the website (www.jacksonrivermarathon.com), on Facebook and via local media. If there is sufficient advanced notice of a severe weather event, notices will also be sent via the email submitted with your registration.
AWARDS
All finishers receive a commemorative finisher's medal.
Unique awards will be given to the overall top 3 overall male and female finishers of the marathon, half marathon, 10K and 5K races.
The top three male and female finishers in each age group of each race will receive a certificate of accomplishment. Our age groups are: 12 & under; 13-18; 19-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69, and 70+.
The awards ceremony will be at the Intervale Trail Head 30 minutes following the completion of each distance (5K, 10K, Half and Full Marathon) by the top 3 males and females for that particular race. It is understood that this means some participants may still be on the course while others are receiving awards but we want to avoid holding people overly long before handing out awards.
Refreshments will be provided for all race participants at the Intervale finish line.
Please note that awards will NOT be mailed so please attend the ceremony for your race!
*Register by May 25, 2024 if you want a T-shirt!!! After that date there is no guarantee that a shirt will be available for you on the day of the race. We do not accept on-site registrations.
Packet Pick-up will be from noon-4pm at the Alleghany Highlands Chamber of Commerce & Tourism and 5pm - 8pm at the Covington Farmers Market on Friday, June 7th. On-site packet pickup the day of the race will be available starting at 6:30am.

ABOUT THE EVENT
Join us Sunday morning (very very early!), June 9, 2024, for the Sri Chinmoy Midnight Marathon at Rockland Lake State Park, just 45 min. north of NYC. Featuring a scenic, "pancake flat" and fast 2.95 mile paved loop around beautiful Rockland Lake. Get ready for your PR!
Amenities: Aid stations every mile, including one main well-stocked station, custom race shirts, custom medals for all finishers.
Clarifier: This race starts at 12AM Sunday morning, a.k.a midnight Saturday night
Sponsored by the Sri Chinmoy Marathon Team in cooperation with the New York State Parks System. All proceeds from this event support the Self-Transcendence 3,100 mile race.

THE COURSE
A scenic, flat and fast 2.95-mile paved pathway around Rockland Lake, accurately measured USATF certified course. Just shy of 9 laps = Marathon. The entire loop was repaved in 2020 and is in excellent shape - smooth, flat, no bumps, cracks or potholes. Race staging area is near the south end of Parking field 5. Headlamps are strongly recommended, there are no lights on the course.
RACE PACKET PICKUP
11:00 - 11:45PM at Race-Day Central, at the south end of Parking Field 5.
RACE START
12:00 midnight Saturday / 12AM Sunday. The start line is here, a 5-6 minute walk north of the race staging area, 150 meters past the restrooms.
LAP COUNTING
Lap counting will be done manually by race staff. Please ensure your race bib is visible on the front of your torso (not your side, leg, back etc.) each time you pass the counting station, otherwise your laps won't be counted!
RESTROOMS
There are three restrooms along the course: One at parking field 5 about 150 meters past the race staging area, one at parking field 6, and one at parking field 3. All have running water, and are lit at night.
MEDICAL
Medical personnel will be present on-site during the entire race, for emergencies only. (No massages, etc.)
NIGHTTIME SAFETY MEASURES
It is recommended for all runners to wear headlamps on the course at night, there are no lights on the course. Race-Day Central will have minimal electric lighting.
A cyclist will circle the course continuously until sunup (5:24AM)
A park police vehicle will be present in the park overnight, special for this event.
TIME LIMIT
8:00AM. All runners have 8 hours to complete the race.

Come join us on Sunday, June 9, 2024, in the Olympic Village of Lake Placid, New York USA!
The 19th Annual Lake Placid Marathon & Half is a premier early season race hosted in the historic Olympic Village of Lake Placid, New York USA home of the 1932 and 1980 Winter Olympic Games surrounded by the beautiful Adirondack Mountains.
Registration/bib pickup is on Saturday, June 8, 2024, from 1 pm - 6 pm at the Oval. The race is Sunday, June 9, 2024, starting at 8 am.

Each year the event attracts athletes from over 40 U.S States, Canada, and abroad.
The Half Marathon is a single loop out and back while the Marathon is a double out and back. Both races begin/end on Main St. in the charming Village of Lake Placid at the Olympic Speedskating Oval.
The Marathon/Half course is a combination of flat, rolling and some hills and runners enjoy mountain views, open areas, shaded areas, a class III trout stream, and beautiful Mirror Lake along the way.
Well-stocked aid stations are available. The event offers a generous six (6) hour course limit for each race.
Athlete food at the Race Finish along with a quality finisher medal and a 2024 race T-shirt are among the benefits of the race. Please note: We reserve the right to change the racer gift and will inform you of any changes/options well ahead of race day.
The Lake Placid Marathon & Half was ranked the #2 “Best Destination” Race in the USA by a Runner’s World Magazine reader survey (source; Jan. 2010 issue).
We are walker-friendly and a great venue for a team or group destination event.
Age restrictions: The marathon is limited to those 16 yrs and older on race day but must have a parent's signature IN PERSON at registration in order for a child to compete that is under 18 years old.
The half marathonis open to anyone 13+ but must have a parent's signature IN PERSON at registration in order for a child to compete that is under 18 years old.
The entry fees include a charity component that allows us to make a donation to two local charities, the Lake Placid Educational Opportunity Fund and the Joshua Fund.

Cinderella Trail Run Marathon (2024)
The course travels through beautiful Joaquin Miller & Redwood Regional parks. You'll wind through tall redwoods along popular Sequoia-Bayview and French trails. Then, come back to the finish down the very technical Cinderella trail. Some runners call it the "Wicked Step Sisters" trail.
(Distances are accurately measured using a Rolatape® surveyor's measuring wheel.)

This all-sport weekend is sure to please. Nestled in the heart of San Juan Island, Lakedale Resort's family friendly atmosphere is the perfect location to start and finish a run! New this year! Running events will happen on Saturday, June 17, in conjunction with the Three Lakes Triathlon. Live music, food truck and family activities await you at the finish, along with a commemorative 20th Anniversary finisher medal.

The Preserve at Lakewood is a 120-acre parcel of land which features forest land, dirt trails, parking for 200, and of course, The Sustainability Education Center. The land is home to countless plant/animal species. Upon visiting, you can see red cedar and maple, hickory and flowering dogwood trees, white-tailed deer, eastern cottontail, woodchucks, box turtles, various types of mockingbirds, woodpeckers, blue jays and more. Join us at the nature preserve for an event that welcomes every level of runner! This event takes an interesting twist on the backyard style of racing! We will have finisher awards for everyone who completes at least 13.1 Miles or more. Along the way you can knock out some distance marks but in the end there may only be ONE Winner or possibly No Finishers!
All participants will start at 6:30am. Along the way you can knock out some distance marks but in the end there may only be ONE Winner or possibly No Finishers! The race will tentatively end around 10pm with the last few runners picking up the pace every mile to beat the clock that is diminishing with ever lap! The cutoff for each lap will be one minute less than the previous lap. We will start the race at 6:30am and give runners 45 minutes to complete the 2 mile loop. Runners completing the laps early must wait for the clock to start the next scheduled lap. If you fail to complete the 2 mile loop in the required time please ring the cowbell and turn in you race bib. On the 31st lap (if we get there) the first runner to complete the lap will be the winner.
This style of event welcomes all paces and levels of runners. If you are looking to knock out your first 50k this event is for you! If you are looking to challenge your furthest distance with 50 miles step right up! And if you are looking to compete and take your challenge to the next level look no further! The course will be trail, rolling, partly shaded! Bring your 10 x 10 pop up, a lawn chair, and lets make it a party.
